The wood used in our tabletops come from local Singaporean trees originally destined to be discarded or turned into wood chips, because little could be done with them in the city. Instead of allowing this wasteful practice to continue, we used these premium hardwoods for our solid wood tabletops and give them a new lease of life.

The solid wood undergoes a kiln-drying process to ensure that moisture is minimized and suitable for Singapore’s humid environment, ensuring the tabletop is more durable and longer lasting. It is then sanded finely before being coated with a premium oil-based transparent varnish.
